Celebrating Tenley!

Friday, we had a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Baby Tenley in June.  Everyone there was an ADPi in college together and let's just say there were a lot of laughs and it didn't end until 1:00 a.m.!
The theme was quite unique, but it was quite fitting for Tenley's mama! During the shower, Cyndi made the comment, "I hope you know how I am.  You've known me since I was EIGHTEEN."  Well, we've known Amber since she was 18 also and the hostesses just knew her baby shower had to be DALLAS COWBOYS theme!  Yes, it was a baby shower for a GIRL, but c'mon this is Texas.  We like our football and Amber LOVES the Cowboys!
The hostesses also knew Troy's number 8 had to be included.
Cyndi made this quilt herself.

Amber's shirt reads "Cowboys fan in progress"-How appropriate.
We made homemade Koozies
Here's Mandi making hers
And here I am making mine...OOPS!  That's Angela making mine for me!
There were lots of great gifts-Mandi remembered to include an ADPi lion
Cyndi made this too-I am so jealous of her artsy ability. Seriously click on the picture to see it.
We ate cake and of course Amber had to get the #8 piece.
We looked at pictures from our college days
And there were a TON of laughs
I'm 99% sure this is the very first time I touched a pregnant belly-I'm still freaked out by the whole baby in a belly thing.
It was a great baby shower-I love my ADPi girls!

Score!! All this pinkness is so theraputic.
This is as cute as it gets folks!!! Love the cake, quilt, and all the thematic accessories. Lastly, one of my fav aspects of all these pics: Tenley's mamma's good hair look!

How fun! Ok girls you get an A++ in my book of all time greatest showers. High fives to all and butt pats galore. Team Pam (aka Am's Techno Twin)

It was a completely awesome evening. Can't tell ya how blessed I am to have you gals in my life. Some I talk to regularly, some I see every few months and some are just people I can't let leave my life!
I was trying to explain to Teamann how much fun we had and how I had MULTIPLE belly laughs, that I'd laughed more that night than I have in a LONG time, but somehow he wasn't as amused as I was about seemingly EVERYTHING...sigh.
;)
It was a memorable evening to say the least...
glad you were there AM!!!
