Meal Plan Week #34
Sunday: En route home from Dallas
Monday: Frozen pizza
Tuesday: NoJa (work anniversary dinner)
Wednesday: Cheese Ravioli with Pesto
This was a solid dish with a kick so you know we liked that. The flavor stayed strong throughout the dish which was also a plus.
Thursday: Blue Cheese Polenta with Vegetables
This was a very good and different dish for us. The polenta was very tasty and we debated between this and the ravioli for winner of the week.
Friday: Rotini with White Beans and Escarole Dinner Out with the C-Ss
Saturday am: Red Pepper Egg-In-A-Hole
Saturday am: Red Pepper Egg-In-A-Hole
Quick, simple, and good. Bonus-T was able to flip the egg/peppers without a hitch. To be honest, we did add cheese and tomatillo sauce after this picture was taken. The flavors worked well and we would make these again for sure.
Luckily the red pepper egg-in-a-hole was low-cal so we could indulge in one of T's famous Bloody Marys. Okay, okay they aren't famous but they should be (in my unbiased opinion). I consider myself a bloody mary snob, and his is honestly one of if not the best I've had.
Predictions--
A: Ravioli
T: Polenta
And . . . it was another draw. Basically, which dish is best totally depends on what you are in the mood for . . . but if spice is your thing, you should go with the ravioli
